It’s been a long time coming, but Seattle has finally held its first inaugural Seattle Interactive Conference (SIC). This week, some of the Internet industry’s brightest leaders converged on one of the most innovative cities to hear visionary speakers discuss technology, creativity and emergent trends. And Hornall Anderson was excited to play a part in making this conference a memorable experience, from participation in the "Battle of the Geek Bands" on opening night, to digital short videos created specifically for the conference, to several HAX created interactive installations scattered throughout the conference area, to Chief Experience Officer Jamie Monberg’s packed presentation on “Environmental Interactive: From URL to IRL,” and lastly to the Hornall Anderson sponsored Closing Party at the Showbox Sodo, featuring headlining band Mudhoney. Based on the Tweets burning up Twitter this week (hashtag #sic2011) SIC was a huge success, and promises to become even more popular in the coming years.
