Mammoth is one of North America’s premier four-season mountain resorts, located 300 miles north of Los Angeles.
Mammoth is the gateway to the Sierra and Yosemite National Park and constantly gets praise for their massive annual snowfall, amazing terrain, and an average of 300 sunny days a year — not to mention the laid back atmosphere it possesses.
Mammoth honors individualism and celebrates a casual, come-as-you-are quality that is welcoming and special.
A small team from Hornall Anderson worked closely with Mammoth’s internal marketing department to elevate their brand presence as well as create a new visual system, architectural signage, uniforms, and bus graphics.
Hornall created a new identity that reinterprets a mammoth by embedding tusks in a rugged, mountain-esque “M.” The tusks and “M” are meant to be discovered, much like guests discover their own experiences in all that
Mammoth has to offer.
Viva la Woolly!
