Embracing the True Spirit of the Season

POSTED BY on Dec 12, 2008

For some businesses, work might slow down during the holidays, but the folks at Hornall Anderson are not only working hard creating great design for our clients, we’ve also been pulling double duty as helper elves this month.

Over the last ten or so years, employees have spearheaded the sponsorship of families through the YWCA Adopt-A-Family holiday program. Because of everyone’s generous participation, we collected a total of 59 gifts for the two families, with the hope of providing them with a much brighter holiday this year.

Not to be out done, our Production Department organized a competitive food drive to benefit the White Center Food Bank. Each of our five “wings” competed to collect the most food. And it was a true competition, with more and more food appearing in the collection boxes each morning – the result of friendly banter about who was in the lead. The competition was fierce, as wing-mates made last minute trips to Costco during their lunch breaks before the deadline. At final tally, an impressive total of 2,778 food items were donated to the food bank.

We invite you to experience the true spirit of the holiday season by making a donation to those in need among the many organizations helping others. What better gift can you give, especially at this time of year? Happy holidays!
