Here in the London office, we are really excited to see our press ads for the Vaseline Limited Edition lip therapy tin hitting both Stylist and the Metro today. For those that don't live in the UK, these are widely read free publications handed out to commuters on their way into work...and our ad is on the front page of the Metro and we have two full pages in Stylist!
We have been anticipating this day for quite some time having been sworn to secrecy about the Limited Edition since we came up with the flavour, designed the tin, created the key visual and developed both a teaser and reveal press ad earlier this year.
Over the week leading up to the launch, Vaseline have been running a teaser campaign on Facebook, encouraging fans to guess the flavour with clues and prizes.
As if that wasn't enough, The Limited Edition will launch officially at Selfridges tomorrow morning with a breakfast for the press and the unveiling of an exciting in store experience. It is likely to cause quite a stir, as this will be the first time Selfridges have allowed a mass consumer brand to be sold in their Beauty Hall. Howard and Aidan have done us proud with their beautifully designed, super stylish installation – we can’t wait to see it in its full glory tomorrow morning (pictures to follow).
