A necessary feature of being part of a global agency is developing a culture and approach that fits with the market. The challenge, therefore, becomes how do you operate in a way that meets regional needs while functioning as one global experienced network. (This never happens to any of our global clients, does it?) A big key to solving this puzzle is spending time and bonding with the team, not just in Seattle, but also in London. John Anicker, Erin Crosier and I flew to London to spend four days with Nick Green and Ali Whiteley of HA's London office, and to participate in a capabilities meeting with Unilever. Also covered while I visited, the New York plan, competitive landscape in London, new business, our website, meeting the team, drinking beer and eating well. Tough job being in London, but somebody’s gotta do it.
Arrival at Paddington Station.
John, our CEO, always a half block in front of us, which I guess is kind of his job now that I think of it.
Erin ready to rock with four hours of sleep. How does she do it?
Ali our brilliant ECD in London sharing his great work. Why do we look so serious w serious when we’re actually having fun?
Great shoes, definitely a requirement in this office, and definitely a shared value in NYC.
