Every year DMI (Design Management Institute) hosts a series of "Night Out" events across the globe to discuss the evolving practice of design. This year, Hornall Anderson is hosting the event at our Seattle office. Our own head of global brand strategy, Rose Cameron, will be facilitating a lively conversation around the evolution of customer co-creation and how it will impact design moving forward.
If you are interested in joining us, please RSVP here. The Night Out event is free and you do not have to be a member of DMI to attend.
The Boundaries of Design: Exploring the outer limits.
The boundaries of design authorship are expanding well beyond the confines of corporate and agency walls. New working models — from open-source innovation to crowd-sourcing creative communities — suggest a redistribution of value in design practice. Where do the best ideas come from? How might we build, manage, and sustain design excellence in this increasingly demanding context?
Following an informal cocktail hour, Hornall Anderson will present a brief program to include case studies related to the role of crowd-sourcing and broad creative communities across the key stages of the design process. We would love for you to join this spirited discussion.
DMI's Night Out series connects cross-disciplinary design and business leaders in their local communities around the world.
