T-Mobile + NBA All-Star Week + Bourbon St. = Good Times

Wow, what a week. After an insanely short creative development and build schedule, we arrived in NOLA ready to rock – and rock we did, but more on that in a moment.

T-Mobile is the official wireless carrier of the NBA and for the second year in a row, on behalf of T-Mobile and WMG, we were tasked to create T-Mobile’s NBA experience booth at this year’s Jam Session during All-Star week.

Our design team focused on connecting the everyday NBA fan with the lives of T-Mobile’s two key spokes people: Charles Barkley and Dwyane Wade. The result is the “Live Like Your Faves” booth where fans were able to experience an immersive, interactive environment that utilized technology to provide basketball themed engagements in a way that only T-Mobile could provide.

Not only did we get to impress NBA fans with exhibits that let them take photos in a simulated All-Star locker room and the TNT Halftime Show set, design their own NBA themed jersey, and play a life sized interactive dribble game; but our crew also butchered several classic rock songs via some much needed karaoke R&R on Bourbon Street.
