I’ve been trying to put together my own LCD drawing tablet for a couple of years now. The original hold up was trying to get an LCD display that would play nicely with my WACOM tablet, the curser jittered from interference between the monitor and the tablet. Until I found a website that offered a lot of insight and hardware to finish the job. http://www.tabletmod.com/
The hardware consists of a WACOM Intuos 3 tablet, LCD screen out of an ordinary laptop, and a controller card offered by tabletmod.com.
Still trying to figure out how best to use it but it is really fun.

An idea I've had for next steps is to get another display and controller card and place two screens side by side, since my WACOM tablet is sooo big.
