…for combining two of my favorite things in the world, coffee and stout. I just read an article in Modern Brewery Age magazine describing a new drink being tested in Ohio and Florida called a “Dark Barrell Latte” that is said to have stout-like flavors. It is made with a chocolaty, stout-flavored sauce, topped with whipped cream and dark caramel drizzle. Now I realize that there are a lot of coffee stouts and coffe porters out there (I reccommend Redhook Double Black Stout and Kona’s Pipeline Porter), but I can’t drink those at the Monday morning all-staff meeting.
So, to Ohio and my home state of Florida, please do your parts to ensure that this creation makes it to Seattle. If you could all drink one or two a day, I’d appreciate it.
