This Saturday, Hornall Anderson is participating the School of Visual Concepts 12th Annual Letterpress Wayzgoose & Steamroller Smackdown. The event consists of 16 design teams from around the city designing and creating a 3’x4’ linoleum block inspired by a Pacific Northwest Museum. Hornall Anderson picked The Wing Luke Museum for our design. The Wing is an extraordinary museum and a jewel of Seattle and the Pacific Asian Community. We were honor to get the opportunity to create a piece of art dedicated to such a special space.

If you can make it out on Saturday, the event will be held in the parking lot of the SVC (500 Aurora Ave N, Seattle 98109) from 1-6pm. It’s free and super fun! They’ll have raffles, demos, prints to buy food & music- you don’t want to miss it. We’ll be printing our block at 1pm so come on down and get inky with us!
