With cupcakes topping out as one of the most go-to guilty pleasures over the past several years, how does a local cupcake company with national recognition stand-out amidst the crowded space of boutique bakeries? We were tapped by Seattle-based Trophy Cupcakes to help them rediscover their sweet spot by repositioning their brand.
Drawing from Trophy Cupcake’s mission — “Making every day a party” — we began by refreshing and updating the brand’s look and feel with a new color palette, witty messaging and a modern, yet simple, photo style. We then injected this strong brand presence into Trophy’s website, designed for maximum flexibility for client update-ability.
Our design approach included strategy supporting monthly and seasonal cupcake flavors/themes, as well as a user-friendly, online ordering experience to match the brand personality and streamline the business side of the party. The result is a site that is already earning rave reviews by the owners and cupcake fans alike.
