Microsoft has a vision to apply their expertise in software and technological innovation to help people around the world live healthier lives. The Microsoft Health Solutions Group, comprised of HealthVault (for consumers) and Amalga (for healthcare professionals), came to us for insight on how to best create a flexible and distinct identity system.
We chose to focus on the emotional, human side of health care, but in a way that still portrayed the brand’s functional benefits to consumers and healthcare providers. The overall graphic language emphasizes the idea of simplicity and conveys a secure ecosystem of personal health information that connects patients, doctors and institutions. The result is a dynamic brand identity system for both HealthVault and Amalga that is easily scalable and unique in the category.
