When Microsoft partnered with (RED) – a business model teaming up the world’s most iconic brands – it was to create a (RED)-branded Windows Vista experience for consumers to contribute to The Global Fund to help eliminate AIDs in Africa. Windows (PRODUCT) RED gives Windows the opportunity to be part of a great cause while claiming a more meaningful place in consumers’ lives.
For this initiative, we created a visual identity system that expresses Windows Vista Ultimate – not only within their existing co-branding partnership with Dell – but one that is flexible enough to embrace a variety of co-branded products. The result is a brand system that stays true to the (PRODUCT) RED brand guidelines and voice, expressed against inspiring and relevant marketing executions across a variety of both on and offline touchpoints.
